So how does 1Yard work?

Submit service requests
Start by filling out a service request! These requests will be processed and shared with our volunteers who will complete the task(s).

Services are organizaed and completed
Once we have the volunteers to complete your request, you will be updated with all the necessary information confirming the time, date and # of volunteers. The service will then be completed.

Donation
After services, a donation to Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre is optional but recommended. We understand and can waive the donation in case of financial hardships. Clients are responsible for sending the donation directly to our Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre fundraiser page; no money goes through 1Yard.
We help with outdoor work exclusively!
For example: weeding, mowing, planting, trimming, fence painting, etc.

Tasks not mentioned can be specified and approved upon request. If you are unsure if we can complete a task, feel free to email 1yardservice@gmail.com for clarification.
What we can help with
1Yard focuses it's support on seniors and those with physical limitations. Due to such high demand of our services, we will no longer be serving general customer. Thank you for your understanding.
