Jay Hung

Founder

Jay is a student at Queens University who founded 1Yard in the Fall of 2020 with the hopes of easing the burden from those with physical limitations after his mom was diagnosed with a debilitating terminal illness.

Over the few years building 1Yard from ground up, he has truly enjoyed meeting all the amazing people that this organization has brought together and the impact that 1Yard has made on his community!

While he's not planting flowers or mowing lawns, Jay loves to long-distance run, watch football, and play ultimate frisbee. He’s also an avid skier who loves to teach beginner and intermediate skiers!
